Nathaniel Bassey – The Battle Belongs to God Praise Medley
Renowned gospel minister and worship leader Nathaniel Bassey has released a powerful new worship medley titled “THE BATTLE BELONGS TO GOD PRAISE MEDLEY.” The new release off his new project “The Life Recording” brings together familiar praise songs that have featured prominently in the viral online worship gathering, Hallelujah Challenge.
The medley carries a strong message of victory, praise, faith, and confidence in God. It features “The battle belongs to God,” written by Apostle Joshua Selman and Nathaniel Bassey, alongside “You are You” and “Jehovah Nissi,” both written by Nathaniel Bassey.
The songs come together as one continuous expression of praise. More importantly, the medley points believers toward the truth that God remains sovereign in every battle and every difficult season.
Speaking about the release, Nathaniel Bassey penned: “This is a powerful medley of the songs stated above. It is not just a sound of praise to God, but also one of victory and dominion over the enemy and his works.
The night was glorious and we captured this for the body of Christ as a sound in season. Enjoy !”
The minister also connected the release to the biblical account of Jehoshaphat and Judah. He concluded with the Bible verse: “15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and thou inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15″
That scripture forms a strong foundation for the medley’s message. It reminds listeners that fear does not have to control them when they face overwhelming circumstances. Instead, believers can respond with praise while trusting God to fight the battles they cannot win by human strength.
The accompanying live visuals capture the energy of the worship gathering. Worshippers passionately echo each line as Nathaniel Bassey leads the room through an atmosphere of intense praise and celebration.
