Prolific Venezuelan reggaeton duo Majo y Dan comes through with a new deep worship song which they titled La Carrera.

This song was released in 2021 for their album Released: 2021 Cuando Todo Se Detiene. Both audio and lyrics are available here at GospelHome.

De tanto correr, correr,
me cansé, sentí no respirar
y no poder ya más
Intenté, traté y me esforcé
en ser la más veloz,
creyendo así
podría ser feliz

Precoro
Pero una voz tan apacible
llegó a mí en la debilidad
a decirme: «Ya no corras,
ven, que te enseñaré a caminar»

Coro 1
A caminar,
a caminar,
a caminar,
a caminar

Me caí y ahí entendí,
oh cuán equivocada estaba
en mi forma de vivir
Tratando de ganar, perdí
de vista lo más importante de
de mi existir

(Precoro)

Precoro 2
La carrera de la fe
no es la que trata de velocidad;
es aquél que se detiene
por alguien más que podrá avanzar

Coro 2
Ven a caminar
a caminar,
a descansar,
puedes descansar

Puente
Uh uh uh
Uh uh uh
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah-ah -ah

De tanto correr, correr,
descansé y pude respirar
